How it works
- Three tickets, all yours. Finish one of them in as few calls as you can.
- Half the balls land on a ticket and mark themselves. Claim your line, two lines and full house as each one comes in.
- The other half miss. Leave one of your five Catches on any number and it fires the moment a ball misses in that number’s column.

Where the decision is
Bingo is a lottery, and a ball nobody chose makes a poor test of anybody. The five Catches are the answer to that, and they are the only part of the round anybody decides.
Leave one early and it goes off almost at once, on a number that was on its way anyway. Leave it late and the column you are waiting on may never come up again — hold everything to the end and three tokens in five die on the square. Two thousand simulated days turned up no rule that settles it: the best one found takes about a third of what a player who could see the whole draw would take.
Because everybody holds the same three tickets against the same draw, the call you come home on means the same thing on every screen. There is no ranking to explain and no score to normalise. If a friend finished on 66 and you finished on 71, that gap is the two of you and nothing else.
Why tomorrow is worth turning up for
Because a streak here counts the days you showed up, not the days you won. Bingo is luck, and a game that broke your run over an unlucky draw would be punishing you for the weather.
Miss a day and one is forgiven, automatically, once per run. The round resets on the same clock for everybody, and the page counts down to it. It never promises you midnight, which would be a lie for the seven months Britain spends on summer time.
Ninety cards to collect
Every prize you win also wins you the card for the ball that completed it. There are ninety, one for each number, and each one tells you where its call came from — why 88 is two fat ladies and why 49 is not what most lists say it is.
You cannot buy a card, trade one, or fill a gap with anything but a round of bingo. The album keeps them, and every card in it links to that call’s entry.
Is this gambling
No, and it is built so it cannot become it. You cannot put money in and you cannot take anything out. There is no wallet, no card form and no prize of any kind, and the credits the game counts are a score that buys nothing.
