It’s hard to believe that Gala Bingo TV has been around and entertaining us for three whole years.  It seems like just yesterday everyone was aghast at the new and daring venue that Gala was venturing into when they introduced their interactive bingo channel.  Who would have thought that people would have so much fun with the easy access offered through the Sky remote?

After three years, can Gala Bingo TV continue to keep us entertained?  Well, they are certainly off to a great start this month.  They are bringing back the very popular Showbiz Bingo every Friday evening at 8 pm and have lots of celebrity dish to present, coming from Dean Piper of Heat Magazine and even Mr. Showbiz of the Sunday Mirror.

Their actual birthday is this coming Sunday so of course, they are hosting a special event.  From 6 pm through 10 pm Sunday night they will have a buy three, get one free bingo ticket deal.  As Paul Tremain, director of programmes, says the company “thought it would be rather nice to share the birthday gifts.”

They’ve clearly done something right as the channel pays roughly ￡20,000 each and every night with about 200,000 winners annually.  That shows a viewership of more than many shows on the telly these days so Gala Bingo TV, here’s to many more birthdays to come – cheers!
